Our Vision
To serve as a model to the local church for the training of competent, enthusiastic, and compassionate leaders that support God’s plan and the pastors vision for the church.
Our Purpose
The purpose of the State Deacons Convention shall be: (a) to create an opportunity for fellowship among Deacons, Deaconess and Youth of the Baptist Churches of the State of New Jersey; (b) to educate members so that they can better carry out their duties as church officers; and (c) to provide financial assistance for the needy or sick members who meet criteria established by the convention.
